Every match does not have to be streamed but once we reach top 8 all of it will be streamed.
There is a check-in that will open (see time specified above). Generally, we offer a grace period of 10 minutes past the start time of the tournament to be present.
You must enter your PSN name EXACTLY HOW IT IS SPELLED as your entrant name. You can customize this so it can vary from your challonge user name. Another reason why you must register on challonge, to make edits and again, report scores.

If a player disconnects from a match, they forfeit 1 game to their opponent. It takes 2 "games" to win a set in standard bracket matches. Note, if a D/C occurs before damage is taken by either player, we will allow no penalty, once.
If you cannot connect to the host's room (stream room) after 3 attempts, you must play your opponent off stream. Player's have mentioned some problems with the streamer being the room host, and that it causes connection issues. The problem with allowing someone else to host the room, is that they cannot be relied on all the time, and may proceed at a slower pace, which may ultimately put the tournament behind schedule.
Lag and network latency is an element of netplay, and something that cannot be avoided. By registering, you understand that this is a netplay tournament, and that input delay, slowdowns and connection issues are part of the game.
