Coordination will take place in the FF1&2 Speedrunners Assembly Discord:

Matches will be restreamed to the Speedgaming family of channels, courtesy of Feasel. Races will be held on SRL, and SRL times will be used as the official time of the match. All runners will be required to stream and also follow SRL's rules.

PLAYERS MAY NOT CHEAT. This sounds redundant, but it is necessary to mention. If you are using an emulator, you MUST show the emulator GUI long enough for restreamers/organizers to see that cheats are not enabled! This must be done before the race begins. Failure to do so will count as an automatic loss for your match! Use of any livepatches will also count as a loss.

Players may use UMD, ISO on PSP, or emulator. PPSSPP is the emulator of choice. Note that UMD just adds load times and would be a disadvantage. ISO is recommended for PSP.

If a match hasn't been scheduled by the end of the defined week (11:59 pm CST on the respective Sunday, 5:59 am UTC on the respective Monday), the match will be counted as a forfeit for both runners. Exceptions can be made, but only if the organizers are informed well-ahead of time. Anything perceived as last-minute will be a forfeit.

Failure to complete the game within 3 hours will count as a forfeit. The restream may also stop if the first player finishes, depending on schedules. This does not mean the loser should quit or forfeit, because times may be considered for tie-breaker purposes! Always finish your run!

For questions, comments, or concerns, please see Leonis, Lenophis, or Poorscythe in the discord channel.

These groups are a preview and subject to change until the tournament is started.
