Internal Tekken 7 Tournament - Testronic Poland

Are you ready to take a challenge to become the one and only King of Testro Fist?~! Between 12-27 October, 40 contestants will take their chance to become the very best fighter in the neighborhood~!

Tournament format

As such, the tournament will have a group stage, everyone is going to play one FT2 set against each other :

-           We are playing on PLAYSTATION 4

-           8 groups

-           5 people per 1 group

-           2 strongest advance to Final Stage -Final Stage will be a Double Elimination venue.

Tournament rules (based on Evo 2017)

It would be great if we could wrap the tournament up by the end of October since the UK office is waiting for the finalists to emerge and play against them.

IMPORTANT DATES:

Entry deadline – 8th of October

Draw results – 11th of October

Tournament start – 12th of October

Group Stage - 12th -  22nd October

Final Stage -  23rd - 27th October

Matches are to be decided ASAP as our schedule is tight and the UK office is waiting for challengers :)

·         All games will be played on the default settings, unless otherwise specified, below (Tournament Mode will be enabled during the Tournament matches)

·        We are playing only with the controllers provided by Testronic. After discussing it with management, allowing participants to bring their own controllers could potentially cause chaos with bringing the equipment in and out of the office. Especially since only the very top of our structures can do so.

·        Changing key binding is NOT allowed.

·        Changing key binding is ONLY ALLOWED for:

                  Loser’s bracket Final

                  Winner’s bracket Final

                  Grand Final

There was a heated discussion about the above piece but, ultimately, the current status of controller mapping has been decided to function as stated above.

·         Before starting the match, the contestants may perform “Button Check” either in Key Configuration in Character Select Menu or by starting a random match and checking them in game. After checking the buttons in-game, the Players leave to the Character Select Menu and then proceed with the actual match. Players have to make sure that default controller mapping is set before the match (excluding matches stated in the rule above)

·         All available characters are viable to be played (With an exception of ELIZA which is not bought on the testronic accounts)

·         Accidentally pausing the game at any time during the fight will force you to forfeit the round unless both contestants decide to resume the match and continue (The rule applies if the match is, for some reason, not being played in Tournament Mode)

·         Any player using “Random Select” to pick their character, must “Random Select” again if they win the match, provided that there is no way to pick a certain character in the random box

·         There is no coaching during any tournament match

        ·          Before the match both contestants may select their side. If both of them want to play on the same side, the conflict should be resolved by a coin flip.

·         There is a maximum of 60 seconds allowed between games in a set

·         If one contestant is not able to complete their match before the proposed start of the next round when their opponent is able then their opponent will automatically move to the next round

·         If contestants are not able to complete their group matches before the deadline (22.10) then the incompleted matches will be treated as a draw or a loss

Draw - match not completed, no info from both players

Forfeit - one of the players officially forfeited, points go to the other player

Disqualification - when one of the players constantly evades playing matches it will result in his loss. Escalate any such problems to Paweł Siedlecki or Tomasz Blicharski

·        If both players are playing - In an event of a Draw, no points are awarded to any Player and the set continues until one of the Players reaches the required number of wins in the set to move forward (Match has to be replayed)

1st Round and Quarter Finals

·         Game Settings:  FT2 (Best Of 3), 60 Seconds, 3 Rounds

·         All stages will be random stage select. Player who lost a previous match can switch the stage. In case of a Draw, it remains to be selected randomly.

·         Only a Player who lost a previous match can switch his Character

·         There will be no customizing colours, names or items at any time before or during a tournament match. Any player that does so will be given a loss.

Semi Finals and Finals

·         The TOP 8 competitors will play FT3 (BO5), 60 seconds, 3 Rounds.
