Seeds will be v10.2 Normal, unless a new version is released BEFORE the tournament
begins. If a new version is released prior to April 13th, we will use that version in Normal.
Players must stream with a 10 minute delay. Players must use SRL for all races. You are encouraged to use the weekly races or community channels to form races for practice!
The tournament consists of 2 stages, the Group Stage and the Bracket Stage.
Group Stage: There's a total of 5 races
that will happen per group, the two initial races are first. Then the winner’s
race and whoever wins that wins the group. The two losers also play, but for
elimination. Then the Winners' Loser and the Losers' Winner play in
the final match to see who moves on and who goes home.
Playoff Bracket: The second stage is a single-elimination
bracket. The bracket will be seeded
according to the Groups Stage. Players
will have 1 week per round. There will
also be a match for 3rd/4th place. The Finals
will be best of 3.
To participate you will need to be able to stream your gameplay and enable VOD
saving. SpeedRunsLive.com will be used
for the official timing, however admins may make exceptions depending on the
situation. Please familiarize yourself
with the rules there. You will be expected to join a Discord server ( https://discord.gg/9MfUxFe ),
which we will use as our main source of communication. The matches will be
streamed, with commentary, to the SpeedGaming Twitch channels (twitch.tv/SpeedGaming,
SpeedGaming2-6).
