Organized by
Shogi tournament for beginner players under 1 dan. The prize for the winner is a teaching game against shogi professional.
We plan to have many games, lots of fun and an opportunity for people to improve.
Tournament is 9 rounds, 15 min + 60 seconds byoyomi, played on 81dojo.
Each round is supposed to be played within 4 days, with possible extension until 7 days after round starts.
Round 1: July 15 - July 19
Round 2: July 21 - July 25
Round 3: July 27 - August 2
Round 4: August 3 - August 13 (extended)
Round 5 has started: please play your games until 21st.
Round 6: August 23 - August 30.
Round 8: September 10 - September 16.
Last round 9/19 - 9/24 Japanese time. Remember to check or discuss problems on discord.
Ignoring your opponent messages for a week and asking for extension might be denied. Please schedule your games ahead of deadline.
