3S Next Level Fundraiser: PS4, Fightcade, and XBOX360

On Sunday April 19, NYCFurby will team up with the 3rd Strike scene to host three separate 3S tournaments on three different platforms—Playstation 4, Fightcade, and XBOX360—in order to help raise money for Next Level in Brooklyn, NY.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, many venues across the country are facing an uncertain future as more of our towns and cities are adopting "stay-at-home" policies in an attempt to mitigate the spread of the virus.

One such venue is  Next Level which happens to be located in New York City—the epicenter of the COVID-19 pandemic in the US. Operated by longtime FGC member Heny Cen, Next Level is one of the last remaining venues that cater to new and retro fighting games.

Help us give Next Level a fighting chance! Enter the tournament and consider donating to our official Matcherino! These tournaments are free to enter with prizes TBD!

Schedule

2:00-5:00pm: Playstation 4 (TO/Commentator: Keninblack)

5:30-8:30pm: Fightcade (TO/Commentator: AC Slayer)

9:00-TBD: XBOX 360 (TO/Commentator: DrSteelHammer)

Sign-ups for each tournament end 30 minutes prior to start time.

Rules

2 out of 3 (Winners/Losers/Grand Finals 3 out 5).

Tournaments are open to North American players only .

64 player cap (a single player can enter multiple tournaments).

Winner keeps same character/super. Loser may switch character/super.

Turbos, macros, and programmable buttons are not allowed.

Game breaking glitches are banned. Judgement is in effect.

Wired connections are STRONGLY recommended.*

Please use your Fightcade username to sign up for the tournament on challonge.* 

All players must check In via challonge 15 minutes prior to start time.
