HOW IT WORKS:

Each participant will view the tournament bracket on challonge.com to track the progress of the tournament, and their matches. Participants will report their results directly on the challenge.com bracket. One Life Left will oversee the bracket and make authoritative decisions where applicable via discord, and will spectate selected matchups through our live stream.

Seeding is based on the East of England and OSL rankings.

First matches start at 6pm. Please register your arrival on challonge.com in good time and be ready to go with discord open, and have your saved OSL ruleset prepared. 

SETTING UP MATCHES:

Some matches will be live streamed via our Twitch channel. Streamed matchups will be announced via discord and participating players should join OLL’s arena rather than setting up their own.

A matchup will be displayed as two player names, one above the other. The top player creates an arena under Online > Smash > Battle Arena with the following settings:

Once ready, post your 5-digit arena code here in the one_stock_left_norwich discord channel and tag your opponent to find and join you.

Stage bans can be made via discord as per the usual ruleset. Please allow a relaxed attitude towards stage bans as this can sometimes be a tricky area for less experienced players to understand. Just ensure only the ruleset stages are used.

Each matchup is best of 3. Best of 5 to be player from semi-finals onwards. 

When the match ends, the winner should report the result on challonge.com themselves. Any issues should be referred to OLL via discord. Communication between players via discord is recommended whenever necessary. Banter is encouraged!

You must lose two matchups to be eliminated from the tournament. 

Matchups should be started promptly when available. Delaying starts may result in disqualification.

Connectivity issues sometimes occur. Please refer to discord if required. Persistent connectivity issues may result in disqualification.
