Causa Colegio de Hibernalia Community Tournament - October 2020

All tournament coordinations will take place in the #ch_tournament channel in the Causa Discord Server.

Dates: Saturday, October 17th, and Sunday, October 18th, starting both days at 7 pm UTC. 

On Saturday, October 17th, registered players will need to check-in on the platform between 6:30 and 7 pm UTC. If a player doesn’t check in, they will not be considered in the tournament. 

Format: The tournament will have two phases: 

October 17th: Swiss 5-Rounds Qualifiers. The best 4 qualify for the next phase.

October 18th: 4-Players Single Elimination Bracket.

The initial pairings of the qualifiers will be made by the tournament platform at random. All matches during this phase (1st day) are Bo3 (win 2 games).

The eliminatory matches (2nd day) are Bo5 (win 3 games).

Any deck can be used at any point in the tournament.

Prizes: 

1st: 3 Card Packs and 500 Organite

2nd: 2 Card Packs and 400 Organite

Semi-finalists: 1 Card Pack and 300 Organite

All participants who don’t qualify to the second phase but complete all rounds during the first day will get:

• 1 Card Pack

• 1 Entry to a raffle for 1 Card Back of their choice. 

Conflict Resolution

All players are expected to play fair, and solve their disagreements amicably. Even though there are prizes at stake, the greatest goal is to have fun, and foster a friendly community.

We recommend taking screenshots of the victories to clarify the results. If a match is interrupted due to a critical bug, or connection issue, it is up to both players to decide if repeating the game. We recommend taking screenshots of all results and issues. If a disagreement persists, the organizers may act as judges.

Torneo de Comunidad Causa Colegio de Hibernalia - Octubre 2020

La coordinación del torneo se realizará en el canal #ch_tournament del Servidor de Discord de Causa.

Fechas: Sábado 17 y Domingo 18 de Octubre, ambos días desde las 7 pm UTC. 

El día Sábado 17 de Octubre, los jugadores deberán realizar un check-in (confirmación) en la plataforma entre las 6:30 y 7 pm UTC. En caso de no realizarse, se considerará que el jugador no está interesado en participar y quedará fuera del torneo.

Format: El torneo contará con 2 fases:

17 de Octubre: Clasificatorias en Sistema Suizo de 5 Rondas. Los mejores 4 jugadores clasifican a la siguiente fase. .

18 de Octubre: Eliminación simple.

Los emparejamientos iniciales del primer día los realizará la plataforma del torneo al azar. Todas las rondas durante esta fase serán Bo3 (ganar 2 partidas).

Las rondas eliminatorias (segundo día) serán Bo5 (ganar 3 partidas).

Se podrá usar cualquier mazo en cualquier punto del torneo.

Premios

• 1ero: 3 Sobres y 500 Organita

• 2do: 2 Sobres y 400 Organita

• Semi-finalistas: 1 Sobre y 300 Organita

Todos los participantes que no califiquen para la siguiente fase pero completen todas las rondas durante el primer día obtendrán:

• 1 Sobre

• 1 Entrada al sorteo de 1 Dorso a elección.  

Resolución de Conflictos

Se espera que todos los participantes se acojan al fair play, y resuelvan sus desacuerdos amistosamente.  El principal objetivo es pasar un buen rato y fomentar la comunidad. 

Recomendamos tomar screenshots de victorias y problemas técnicos que puedan presentarse para aclarar desacuerdos. En caso de bugs o problemas de conexión, queda a criterio de ambos jugadores decidir si se repetirá la partida. Si un desacuerdo persiste, los organizadores podrán actuar como jueces.
