Beginners Duel Cup #7

This event is a international duel cup only open to beginners that will be played on March 30, 2019, commencing at 12:00 EDT/16:00 GMT/17:00 CET/19:00 MSK. This will be a double-elimination tournament, with all upper bracket matches consisting of one best-of-three (BO3) game, and all lower bracket matches consisting of one best-of-one game. The Grand Final will be one best-of-five game.

Tournament Format: Double Elimination.

Match Format: BO3 Upper Bracket, BO1 Lower Bracket, BO5 Grand Finals.

Map Pool: cpm22 (wr 5), eizdm4-b15 (wr 5), hektik (wr 5), calendar_v6 (wr 5), and wingsb19 (wr 5).

Map Selection Upper Bracket: Flip a coin (/cv random 2h/t). Winner chooses first map. Loser chooses second map.  The map selection process will be as follows: +pick(winner), +pick(loser), +drop(loser), +drop(winner). The last map remaining will be the third map in the case one is required to break a tie.

Map Selection Lower Bracket: Flip a coin (/cv random 2h/t). Winner drops first map and last map. Loser drops the second map and third map. The map selection process will be as follows: (drop (winner), drop (loser), drop (loser), drop (winner)). The remaining map is the one to be played.

Map Selection for Grand Finals: For the Grand Finals, which is  BO5, players will flip a coin, starting with the winner of the cointoss the map selection process will be as follows: +pick(winner), +pick(loser), +pick(loser) +pick(winner). Remaining map will be the 5th map if needed to break a tie.

Weapon Respawn: All maps are to use weapon respawn five (5). So please be sure to enter into console (/cv wr 5) prior to the start of each game.

Server Selection: Players may play on any server they decide. In cross-Atlantic matches, we recommend the follow: NA vs. EU-W to play on EU-W. NA vs. EU-Central to play on EU-W. NA vs EU-E to play on EU-Central. 

Match Start: Player must play their matching within ten (10) minutes of games being assigned.

Match Reporting: After the matches are complete both players are required to submit their results to an admin. Any discrepancies in reported scores will be investigated by admins.

Match Details: Players must take an end of game screenshot, and a complete demos of all their games. Players must use (/cg_autoaction 7) to have a demo, and screenshot be automatically recorded by the game. Players must be able to provide demos of their games upon request.

Nick: Your nick on sign-up list should be the one you use on Discord, and in-game. No fakenicks allowed!

Behaviour: Be nice to one another. Excessively flaming other players, spectators, casters, admins or referees will lead to disqualification.

Cheating: Any, and all forms of cheating, or assistance will lead to disqualification.
