CRL 1vs1 Casual League

League Format:

This two stage tournament is played out over the course of 2-3 weeks, the tournament length will depend on the number of players participating and the time taken for matches to be completed.

Group Stage (Round Robin)

Every player will play a 3 game match against every other player in the competition, all 3 games in each match must be played as players score league points by winning games and not matches. 1 point is awarded for every game won so 3 points maximum are available from each match, so every single game matters! Each round of matches will be played over 2-3 days so the league can be flexible for all players competing, this will result in the Group stage lasting anything between 20-30 days depending on how quickly each round can be completed. Once all matches in the group stage have been concluded the top 4 players will move on to the next stage of the tournament.

Championship Playoff (Single Elimination)

The top 4 players from the Group Stage will playoff in a Best of 5 Games Semi-Final, with the No1 Seed from the group stage playing the No4 Seed, and No2 Seed playing the No3 Seed. The Semi-Final Winners will go on to play in a Best of 7 Games Final to decide the champion, and the losers will play in a Best of 5 Game to decide 3rd Place.

All matches must be played in Standard Arenas and on EU Region Servers.

All players must be respectful to each other, any inappropriate or offensive behaviour in game may result in disqualification.

Once matches are complete BOTH players must confirm the score to a Tournament Admin (Peasycheese + TBC). If the result of a match is being contested players must provide proof (ie. screenshot or match replays) to confirm the score, if neither player can provide proof of the result the match will be replayed under supervision (i hope i doesn’t come to that)

Tournament Timing and Organisation:

Players must organise the times of their own matches with the players they are matched up against in each round. When the start date of the tournament arrives players may begin playing their Round 1 matches and reporting their scores to a Tournament Admin ( Peasycheese + TBC ), after 3 days have passed or all matches in the round have been completed the next Round will commence and so on until all rounds in the Group Stage have been completed. If matches go unplayed an admin will step in to organise a time for the match to be played out, if players are not avaialble to play their games or cannot organise a time that suits both players the match will be called a Tie.

When the group stage has been completed the tournament admins will take over organising games for the Semi Finals, Finals and 3rd Place Match up with all Playoff matches (hopefully) being played out in 1 day.
