Welcome to the first (as far as I know) Legends of Callasia Tournament!

So here is how this is going to work.

Matches will be best two out of three 1v1 games. Games will be played on the map Meral Sea. Players will reverse start positions for game two. What this means is if you start in position 1 for game one, you will be starting in position 2 for game two. If a third game is required it will be played with the 'Random Start Position' enabled.

All games played will use the following settings:

Turns: 30

Starting Gold: 300

Nuetral Creeps: Normal

AI: There will be no AI players as these will be 1v1 games

Disable VP Win: Off

Random Start Position: Off for games one and two, On for game three

Quick Start: On

Quick Battle Scene: Off

This will be a Single Elimination tournament using standard brackets. Pairings will be randomly shuffled prior to the commencement of the event.

For each round you and your opponent will have one week to complete your best of three match. This means that players should have plenty of time to find a time that they can both be online and plan out their games accordingly. For everyone's convenience please use the Discord channel to arrange matches. If your Challonge handle is different than your Callasia or Discord username, please edit your name for this even only so that players can find each other easily with no issues.

If you are unable to contact your opponent within the first two days of your match being posted please contact me through Discord (MerliniX [OTK]). If a player does not respond to either me, or their opponent to arrange game times within four days then they will forfeit their current match. If players cannot accommodate each other's schedules and no time can be arranged where they can play then the match will be randomly awarded via coin flip by myself.

That being said - please keep in mind that we have players from basically every time zone that will likely be playing. If you sign up please plan to be available at least a few days per week at odd hours so that everyone can play their games without any problems. Games also do not have to all be played in one sitting - feel free to space them out over multiple days if that works best for you and your opponent.

Reporting Results:

I highly encourage anyone who is able to stream their games and highlight them afterward so we can have a record of all the games played. (This will also allow someone to be able to go back later and shoutcast any awesome games or plays). If you are unable/unwilling to stream your games then you must take a screenshot of the end game screen showing both you and your opponent's names and scores and the game result. Screenshots should be uploaded to Imgur for ease of sharing and posted either here or messaged to me in Discord.

What to do in case of a bug:

Hopefully there will be no bugs or technical hang ups, however the game is still in early access and sometimes things do happen. If a bug or glitch occurs in game first try and work it out with your opponent. If the bug or glitch decided the outcome of a game then the game should be replayed. If it was something minor that had little or no bearing on the game then play should continue. If you and your opponent are unable to reach a consensus on whether the bug or glitch was game deciding then message me and I will attempt to reach a fair decision for both players. In most cases I will likely just rule that the game needs t be replayed. Please have screenshots or video recording of any bugs if possible to help me make as fair a ruling as I can.

Also: please report any bugs or issues to the devs so they can be corrected.

If you are found to be abusing bugs or glitches you will be removed from the tournament, and you will be disqualified from any future events that I host. This is at my discretion. If you find or are aware of a bug please report it so it can be fixed, don't try to abuse it.

I will be participating in this event as well. In the case of a bug dispute between me and my opponent I will ask a BoomZap employee to make a decision on whether or not we need to replay the game.

At last the part everyone cares about. If we reach the full 16 players for this event prizes will be as follows;

1st: One or more games on Steam totaling 30 USD or less.

2nd: One or more games on Steam totaling 25 USD or less.

3rd: One or more games on Steam totaling 15 USD or less.

4th: One or more games on Steam totaling 10 USD or less.

If we do not reach the full 16 players prizes will instead be as follows;

1st: One or more games on Steam totaling 25 USD.

2nd: One or more games on Steam totaling 15 USD.

Final Results
