Please make sure to read the rules properly before signing up for the tournament.

- All of the rules mentioned here apply to every single tournament organized by GG_Speedruns. Any individual tournament specifications will be mentioned at the bottom of this section (Any individual rules that contradict the general rules and guidelines will overwrite the general ruling).

- All participants of the tournament will have to join the GG_Speedruns Discord, If participant is not part of the discord by the tournament start date, that participant will be disqualified.

-Brackets are not final until the tournament actually starts.

-Seeding will be made based on final times by June 3rd of the tournament temporary category in SRC:https://www.speedrun.com/eagleisland/full_game#Twist_Launch_Event

-Brackets will be limited to 64 entries, in case of more sign ups, the top 64 in the SRC leaderboard will be making the final cut for the brackets.

-All rules applied in SRC for the game's specific category will apply for the tournament itself unless specified at the bottom of this section in the specific rules for this tournament

-Top 8 will be Bo3

-Pools will be played on Saturday June 5th and Top 8 on June 6th

-All participants are required to be able to stream as some matches will be featured in the main restream tournament channel (https://twitch.tv/GG_Speedruns)

-Being capable to stream is also a requirement in case of any discrepancies for judges to be able to review video feed and have a final decision.

-All runners are required to check-in in the proper discord channel 30 mins before the start schedule of their respective pool

-Participants are required to be ready at least 20 mins before their match for streaming setup purposes. If a player doesn't show up by the time race should start, that player automatically loses that match.

-Official communications/changes to rules or any other important announcement will and only be provided by any of the GG Admin or Staff team. if you have any questions, please make sure to address those to the same team.

Prizes

- There is total tournament prize pool of $4000 + an additional $1000 USD distributed as follows:

1st place - $2000

2nd place - $1000

3rd place - $300 each (total of $600)

4th to 8th - $100 each

The remaining $1000 will be awarded to the WR holder of the "All Bosses" Category for Eagle Island Twist by June 30th

-Prizes will be paid within the first 10 days of the following month after the tournament was finished (i.e. if tournament ends on the 5th of the month, prizes will be paid within the first 10 days of the following month... Same would apply if tournament ends on the 31st).

-All winner's must follow instructions received via email to ensure their payment.

-This event is co-organized by GG_Speedruns and ScreenWaveMedia games, the official Eagle Island Publisher.
