This tournament will be held on the DX version of the game!

Remember, using Battle Rooms is the best way ensure that there is no need to worry about point usage, and to have control over stage selection!

Prizes: 1st 60$, 2nd 30$, 3rd 10$
All prizes will be paid out at the end of the month.

IMPORTANT THINGS TO KNOW:

• Skill points are banned!
• Set up a Battle Room with your opponent, so that you can turn off point usage, and regulate stage selection.
• You must check in half an hour before the tournament. Failure to do so will cause you to be dropped from the tournament.
  
• If you are using an alt to participate, please contact me before check-ins begin, to let me know.
• Bracket is not final until the tournament begins. Please wait to start your round 1 match until the bracket is final.
• Sets are best of 3 matches. Top 3 (Winner/Losers/Grand Finals) will all be best out of 5 matches. 
  
• Players may choose to switch characters mid set. A player may change his support or cheer set on a win or a lose. A player may only change their character on a loss.
• You can either enter your match results here on the bracket, or PM  "Euclase or RickyThe3rd" on the Pokken Community discord to report your match results.
• All participants must be on the Pokken Community discord server (weekly-mems channel) to get in contact with your round partners.

Date: Sunday, March 28th
Round 1 matches start at 2PM, Eastern Time (this time for real). Check-in will begin half an hour before, at 1:30PM, Eastern Time.

Full Tournament Ruleset

• All fighters, support sets, and cheer skills are allowed.
• Players may choose to switch characters mid set. A player may change his support set on a win or a lose. A player may only change their character on a loss.
• The bracket is subject to change until Round 1 begins.
• Skill points are banned!
• The tournament is double-elimination. The winner of the loser's bracket must win 2 full sets in Grand Finals to win.
• Sets are best 2/3 matches, top 3 are 3/5 matches. 
  
• You may not share a Switch to have multiple entrants under one system.
• You must play all your matches to completion in order to receive a prize.

Registration & Setting up matches

Check-ins happen on the tournament page. Get in contact with your round opponents via the #weekly-mems channel in the Pokken Community discord (invite here!) to arrange a VS Code to use to set up your lobby. Failure to show up for a match within 10 minutes of round start will result in a DQ. Keep in mind that some players may get out of matches later than others. To report your set results, either edit your match results here on the tournament page, or PM "Euclase or RickyTheThird" on the Pokkén Community discord.
