Please make sure your Steam (and Discord) name matches the Challonge name you've registered the tournament with.

Smurfing is forbidden and eligible for punishment.

CHARACTER SELECTION RULES:

Players may pick any character they wish to play for the opening game of a set. Afterwards, the winner of the previous game is locked to the character they chose the previous game, and the loser is free to change which character they play. In this case, "Random" is considered its own character - if you chose random game one and you win, you must choose random again in game two.

STAGE SELECTION RULES:

Players can either gentleman's agreement on a specific stage, or vote random. However, if one player wishes to strike stages, the other player must comply with their request.

Players stage strike initially by having the top player in the bracket ban one stage. Then the second player bans two stages, then player one bans two stages, and this process repeats with each player banning two stages until one is left. After subsequent games, the winner of the last match bans one stage, and the loser picks a stage from the remaining lot.

Lag Rules:

There may be instances of lag in the games. Please show good sportsmanship to Admins and players in such instances.

If a game changes speed or stutters slightly, the game will continue. Players are allowed to ask for a replaying of 1 match if this occurs. In that case the reporter has to provide proof. Then the player with the connection issue will try to solve it. After that the match will continue.

If the problem doesn't get resolved a second time, 1 match will go to player with a stable connection.

If your opponent is teleporting or the game is freezing fully please record this and show it to an admin. If the admin agrees then 1 match will go in favor of player with a stable connection.

If a player disconnects due to connection issues, that player will forfeit that match (0-0 → 0-1).

If there's lost connections several times, that player will be disqualified and forfeits that match (0-0 → 0-2).

If you run into any lag or disconnect issues and the opponent agrees, you are allowed to circumvent the Lag Rules above once and replay 1 match. Otherwise the Lag Rules above will still apply.

Prizes:

There is a 100€ Pot bonus that will be split among the top 3. 50€ for 1st, 30€ for 2nd and 20€ for 3rd
