Welcome to MG’s EU Friday Night Swiss Hearthstone tournament.

ATTENDANCE WILL BE TAKEN, IN TEAMSPEAK, 15 MINUTES PRIOR TO THE TOURNAMENT STARTING (Unfortunately there will be no exceptions).

The tournament will be streamed by various participants, however keep in mind that if you decide to stream your games, put a delay on your stream and we would appreciate that you put "MG's EU Friday Night Swiss " in the title of your stream.

BEFORE SIGNING-UP PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING (Not respecting the following rules could result in an automatic forfeit):

Prerequisites:

1.) Be a registered user of the Hearthstone on the EU server.

2.) Use the TeamSpeak 3 (TS3) server: managrind.com

3.) IT IS MANDATORY that when registering to the tournament you include the relevant logo for the class you will be playing (you can download it at: https://sourceforge.net/projects/hearthstone/files/?source=navbar) in your CHALLONGE PROFILE SETTINGS, UNDER AVATAR (it will allow us to efficiently analyze tournament data). However if you do not know what class you will be playing you can put any class icon and change it before the tournament starts. Not including a logo will automatically count you as being absent when taking attendance and hence you will not be able to participate in the event.

General Rules:

1.) Players will be in private rooms on TS.

2.) Attitude and sportsmanship will be expected otherwise penalties will apply.

3.) No information is to be leaked to competing players until after the event is completed.

4.) Abide by the "Honour System".

5.) Disconnecting: It will automatically count as a forfeit unless both players agree to restart the game (Remember that good sportsmanship is always encouraged!).

6.) Side boards are not allowed.

7.) Top 8 or 16 (top cut) MUST submit decklists to the tournament managers. This should be done using the Hearthpwn.com deck builder. Once the deck is built do not save it, but copy the url in the nav bar and send to the tournament manager so it can be featured in an Hearthpwn article.

8.) Top cut should record their games to provide proof of cheating as decklists can be sent to the top cut contenders if they wish once the tournament ends. (Not mandatory)

9.) Cheating will result into a ban for an undetermined time frame.

10.) If you are caught playing in another tournament while playing in our tournament this will result in IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION. Do this causes delays and will no longer be tolerated. 

Brackets:

1.) Seeding will be randomized.

2.) Swiss, best of 1.

3.) Top 8 will move on to a Single Elimination tournament, BO3 (BO5 for finals) that will be announced to the concerned players (we will provide them with a Link Once the Top 8 players have been determined).

4.) Top 8, less than 58 players.

Top 16, 58 players or more.

5) In the event of a perfect tie for 8th (or 16th) place it will be handled in one of two ways, either by a face off match between the affected players or by the use of a RNG to choose who gets it. In the case of a three or more way tie it will be handled by RNG.

Winnings:

1.) Bragging rights.

2.) If prize donations occur they will be given out to the appropriate players!
