Mario Kart: Double Dash Time Trial 1-Try 2021 Tournament

Participation Requirements

1) Join the MKDD TT1T Discord Server so we can communicate and set up matches: https://discord.gg/rcdJP2Pn9H

2) You must be able to stream your matches ~10m prior to the designated match start time in order for the restreamers to get everything working.

Seeding

Seeding for this tournament will be based on these factors in this order of priority

1) Rank based on Average Finish from https://mariokart64.com/mkdd/afc.php

2) Personal Best on speedrun.com

Race Rules

All races are 60hz

No shortcuts as classified by the Player's Page Rules

Best of 13 sets will be played for the entire duration of the tournament

2 Best of 13 sets in Grand Finals, if Losers Final winner wins set 1

Rules

1. Higher seed gets to pick their ban first.

     - Lower seed gets to pick their ban second.

2. Higher seed gets to pick the first track.

     - From there, the loser of each track gets to pick the next track.

3. Banning and track selection must be done in the discord group/server with the commentators.

4. Once a track is selected, start the track and pause as soon as possible.

     - Try to make sure you're hovering over restart.

5. From there, you need to let the discord group/server know that you are ready.

6. Once both players have made it clear that they're ready, a countdown will start in the chat, starting from 5.

7. Press restart on GO  (5, 4, 3, 2, 1, GO)

*In cases of ties, a rematch will be done on the same track.*
