Welcome to the 2022 PMW2 Any% Tournament!. All versions are legal. Entry closes March 27th, tourney starts April 2nd.

Rules:

Be able to stream to Twitch.tv
Have a racetime.gg account to use during the race. Having this helps set up races easier (If you don't have one, create one or ask someone to help you).

For the purpose of the layout, please don't use the Xbox version in widescreen mode.
Gamecube emulators are allowed, but do not use any emulator related functions, such as save states. Xbox and PS2 emulators are not allowed due to them being inconsistent.
For races, the same timing rules as normal runs apply. Start after selecting new game on title screen, end on final hit of Spooky.
If your game hard crashes during a race, you are allowed to restart your console/emulator, insert the cheat code in Pac-Village on the platform behind the blue house to unlock all levels, and return to the level that you crashed on and continue from there. (For Gamecube, you pause and press L, R, L, Z in that order. A prompt should appear telling you you did it successfully. For other versions, refer to the main Pac-Man Speedrunning Community discord in #world-2 under pinned messages https://discord.gg/QtB8Tyy) NOTE: YOUR TIMER MUST CONTINUE EVEN IF THIS HAPPENS! DO NOT PAUSE/RESTART YOUR TIMER!
Bracket seeding will be based on PB. If you do not have a PB on the https://www.speedrun.com/pmw2 leaderboards, you will be seeded last.
Bracket will be double elimination.
Winner's bracket races to be held at least once every 2 weeks per round. Loser's bracket once a week.
Matches will be held best of 1.
Grand finals will be held best of 3.
Bracket will be capped to 16 participants.
This is purely for fun. Any skill level can enter!
