Brought to you by Rodeo Rivals, Roa Rodeo is a region-locked Melty Blood: Type Lumina PC tournament aimed at providing the smoothest possible competitive tournament experience.
The tournament is open entry, and players of all skill levels are encouraged to join! Can't join? Feel free to watch the stream or join the Discord for future tournament announcements!

This is a region locked tournament, available only to Canada & the continental United States. Alaska, Europe, Asia, Africa, Antarctica, Mars, Mexico, Cuba, & DR are not eligible and forbidden from entering
You must have a stable, wired connection. Wi-Fi is not stable under any circumstances. If you're unsure about your connection quality, ping @Organizers in the Discord - we can meet with you in the lobby for a quick check.
If you experience the invisible character bug before the first round starts (before you’re able to attack), please Alt+F4 and restart your game. The exact cause of this bug is not known, but restarting will temporarily fix it. Do NOT Alt+F4 if the game has already started.
We strongly recommend not skipping intros. Skipping intros can potentially cause connection problems, so please avoid causing unnecessary connection issues by just letting the intros play out.
You will be DQ’d from the tournament for poor connection quality. If your match is suffering from significant connection issues, contact a TO by pinging the @Organizer role in Discord, and they will conduct a connection test on both players. Connection tests must be called before the end of the set. If both players pass the connection test, the match counts. If either of the players doesn’t pass the connection test, the match doesn’t count, and if the player at fault can’t fix their connection within 5 minutes, they will be DQ’d. You do NOT need to alt+f4 if there is a connection issue mid-match.
Check-in is 1 hour before tourney start. Players who do not check in will be given 5 minutes after tourney start before they are DQ'd. Players who check in will be given 10 minutes after tourney start before they are DQ'd.
Players are encouraged to locally record their sets to help resolve potential disputes.
Sets are best 2/3 until losers finals, winners finals, and grand finals, which are 3/5.
The bracket is double elimination.
If your opponent picks a palette + stage combination that is difficult to see, you can alt+f4 and request that they change.
Players can request that specific palettes or stages not be used for any agreeable reason as determined by the TOs.
If you win a game in a set you cannot change characters. If you picked random for the first game and won, you must pick random again. The only exception is a bracket reset in grand finals, which counts as a new set where either player can choose any character.
Sets will be marked for stream. Do not play your set until instructed if you are marked for stream.
