Welcome to the 2nd event of the SAVE ARMS 2020 Series!

This, the 2nd of 8 Qualifiers, will be a double elimination tournament. The winner will be invited to compete in the Grand Finals at the end of the season for a share of a community-driven prize fund that will be raised during the season.

Games are Best of 3 up until Winners/Losers finals, which are Best of 5. Grand Finals will be a Best of 7 and in the event of a bracket reset, this will be a Best of 9.

Please note that this tournament will not be restricted to region as it is a Worldwide event. Whilst there will be a lag complaint procedure in place, please be reasonable should you encounter someone from a different region from your own during the course of the tournament as there is only so much that can reasonably be done on this front.

SET PROCEDURE:

1. Players select their characters. 
2. The stage is set as per the listed first stage for the appropriate round of the tournament.
3. The players play the first game of the set.
4. The stage is set as per the listed 2nd stage for the round of the tournament.
5. The winning player of the preceding game needs to announce any changes to their character if they have changes to make. It is not necessary for them to announce ARMS changes.
6. The losing player of the preceding game may choose to announce any changes to their character and ARMS selection, although it is not necessary for them to do so.
7. The next game is played
8. Repeat steps ‘4’ through ‘7’ for all subsequent games until the set is complete.

HOW TO JOIN AND FIGHT:

1. Sign up 

2. Check in (opens 1 hour prior to the tournament)
   

3. Go to Discord Server: https://discord.gg/8mG8Uyu

4. Shortly after the start of the stream check in will be finalised and a match from Round 1 will be selected to play on stream . After this occurs:

1. Use one of the Discord text channels section under “Tournament Groups” to communicate with your opponent
   

2. Exchange friend codes.

3. Decide on a host and make an arena lobby in game.

4. Fight your opponent in a best-of-three.

5. Ensure you report your scores on Challonge.
