IMPORTANT STEPS:

~Please please PLEASE join one of the discords (https://discord.gg/cJNphBc) so that we can easily contact you and you can easily report matches.

~Launch will happen 15-30 minutes after check in closes, i.e. around 6:15. This time is to balance and clean up pools size and seeding to make the bracket as organized as possible.

~Right before launch, I will be announcing further details and instructions in the Discord and on stream (https://twitch.tv/Creestab).

~There will be about a half an hour break in between pool and bracket to allow people to get food, take a break, or fill out a fantasy bracket for the event.

Slap Cities first "official" tournament! The main goal of this event is to help get an idea of the current game state, as Slap City is still in beta testing. Events like this will help shape the scene moving forward, as well as establishing a beta for its current version. This is also an opportunity to highlight top players in the game so far, who will come out on top and make a name for themselves as the Top Slapper and bring home the money?

~70$ PayPal transfer to 1st place courtesy of Ludosity! 30$ PayPal to 2nd. 20$ Steam/Amazon gift code to 3rd, and a 5$ Steam Wallet code as consolation for 4th. That's a pot bonus of 125 bucks!

~Registration is free!

~Aiming to fire on Saturday 6/9 at around 6:00 EST, check in is crucial as to remove anyone registered that's not present.

~It is highly recommended to join the Discord for ease of communication. Please ensure your Challonge and Discord usernames are at least similar to make things run much smoother.

~Match rules will be 2 Player Battle, 4 stocks, 8 minutes.

~Legal stages will be Null, Ruins, Pepper, Saturnian, and Meadow. Counterpick stages will be Summit, Castle, and Hurtland (NOTE: Banning Summit does NOT ban Null, and vice versa).

~Pre Top 8 will be best of 3, Top 8 will be best of 5. For Bo3, G1 will use 1-2-1 banning, G2+ will be winner bans 2 with DSR. For Bo5, G1 will use 1-2-1 banning, G2+ will be winner bans 1 with DSR.

~Please report your results in the Tournaments channel on the Discord using @TO.

~Event will likely be streamed, with feature matches pre Top 8 and ideally all Top 8 matches broadcasted on Twitch (twitch.tv/Creestab) and vods uploaded to YouTube on GRSlap (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCz_Vb_1QyAHfUJ0-zo5ZCkg/).
