GENERAL CONNECTIVITY AND TOURNEY RULES:
1. If we can't find you on discord automatic disqualification (if we can't find you how are you going to play? makes sense right)
2. Make sure you either have a similar challonge and discord name or you have reached out to me regarding your name so I can make the proper arrangements (change your name, make challonge notes all that good stuff so we can identify you)
3. Connection vetting is required, we will conduct connection testing prior the tourney, while you are not prohibited to join (specially last minute entrants) to participate without connection vetting, if in case there is a connection contention and your opponent is connection verified the ruling will most certainly lean towards the one vetted. In cases where both parties are vetted and there is still lag contention we will judge it in a case by case basis. We are hosting an online beginner friendly tourney and lag is bilateral. The only time we will have a lag contention is if the contention is requested before a match has finished, if you finish your fight THEN request lag contention the results will count so before you have an issue raise it during the match.
4. Expect some form of lag - we are playing on GGPO Rollback netcode so it is industry standard, but it is an ONLINE tourney, there will be some form of lag and it will most likely be bilateral (both parties will be affected) please keep this in mind when we are playing.
5. Please respect your fellow competitors, we have all sorts of skill levels here from stark beginner to seasoned veterans - we want MORE people to enjoy playing fighting games and GROW as fighting game players.
