This tournament is open to players of all levels.
Format:
4+ players - double elimination bracket
Best of 1, finals best of 7.
Less than 4 players
· Round robin best of 3
· Top two players move on to play in finals best of 7
Maps picks
Best of 1 - Players will alternate banning maps until one map is left. Order of banning will be ABABAB C. A is the top player in the bracket.
Best of 3 – Players will alternate banning maps until one map is left. ABBA, and then pick the order of the remaining maps ABC. A is the top player in the bracket.
Best of 7 – Player from upper bracket has 1 point lead. player from lower bracket has first map pick. Loser picks subsequent maps.
**No Show Policy**
If a player is not present in the in game channel when their match becomes available (both players for a match is displayed on challonge), they will have 10 minutes before they are disqualified and their opponent is given a walkover victory. The 10 minute grace period maybe extended if both players and tournament organizer all agree.
General:
· All games will be played on NA unless alternate server is agreed upon by BOTH players.
· Check in begins 1 hour prior to tournament start and is required to be included in bracket. Anyone not checked in at the tournament start time will be DQ'd.
· In game chat channel “SomeDrunkChicken” will be the primary source of communications and will be used to confirm players presence. In SC2 type /join SomeDrunkChicken
· If the game reaches a point where neither player can win, the map will be replayed.
· Winning player will report the outcome of their game to the Challonge page
o Player has 1 weeks to send their order to [email protected] and must include:
§ The actual order and what restaurant,
§ Delivery Address and buzzer number if applicable,
§ Preferred delivery service.
o Tournament organizer has the right to refuse order if it is not reasonably doable. In this case the player may pick another restaurant/delivery service.
o Order must be from a restaurant that uses a delivery service such as Skip the Dishes, UberEats, Foodora, Door Dash, or is able to process payments online.
Tournament organizers reserve the right to refuse entry into the tournament to any player they deem a risk to the safety of other players and the integrity of the tournament.
Cheating will not be tolerated, this includes map hacking, stream sniping or any other action tournament organizers deem to be cheating.
