Format:
Open to all skill levels.
Single unseeded group.
Matches are best of 3
Top two players compete in a best-of-5 final.

Gameplay Rules:
All units and races are allowed by default. Play anything you want however:
BOTH PLAYERS GET 1 MERC FACTION VETO to block the other player from choosing that merc faction for the entire match. Do you hate Torq and Mondar? Block Valkaru. You think badgers OP? block marran Arandi flyers bug you too much? Block Arandi
"Excluded Repeat" faction + merc combinations in a single match.
Example invalid combination:
Game 1: Legion + Valkaru
Game 2: Legion + Marran
Game 3: Legion + Valkaru
Example valid combination:
Game 1: Legion + Valkaru
Game 2: Legion + Arandi
Game 3: Grell + Arandi
The first person to message their scheduled opponent before the match (after the previous match) is player 1 (either in the alpha-lfg channel, or via dm)
Player 1 picks their merc veto
Player 2 picks their merc veto
Player 1 hosts first game, Player 2 picks first map
Player 2 hosts second game, Player 1 picks second map
Player 1 hosts third game, Player 2 picks third map
etc
If you can't both settle on a faction + merc for a game (you both keep swapping to counter pick) then the host picks first and is locked in to that choice.
Best of 5 finals is the same rules with two extra games (if needed)
