Blitz War #5 - Southern Guilty Gear Xrd Beginners Tournament
Blitz War is a beginners community for those in the southern United States who are new to Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2! No connection test is required if you live in the following states: West Virginia, Virginia, Kentucky, South Carolina, Mississippi, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Florida, North & South Carolina, Texas, Arkansas, Tennessee, and Georgia. If you live outside these states please @TO in the #drop-requests-n-connection-tests channel in the Blitz War discord and we will be happy to play some games with you to decide if the connection is stable enough for you to enter.
General Netplay Tournament Rules:
- Tournament is PC only!
- Must have a netplay legal stage set (Japan, Babylon, Nightmare Theatre, Central Organ Tower, Draconia Falls and Villa Vampir.) If the match begins and it start on any stage but one of those the opponent is free to go back to the lobby and request you change stages.
- Must have a wired connection to the internet. We all know the pain of Xrd netcode but for the good of everyone entered if we find you are not wired you will be DQ'd.
- If at any point the frame delay spikes above 6 frames PLEASE let the TO's know immediately and we will make a decision of how to go forward.
Beginner Tournament Rules:
- Entrants can not have graduated from any other beginner or intermediate tournament brackets for Rev2.
- Cannot have placed in top 8 of any major online or offline tournaments. If it's a small tournament at locals or between friends that's one thing but please come to me (doveingly #8069 on discord) if you're confused on whether this tournament is right for your skill level.
- Beginner is a hazy term to classify but a word of caution to players brand new to the game: this tournament will have competitors who are more knowledgeable about fighting games/Xrd or GG specific game mechanics/Match ups and character specifics. Anyone is allowed to enter as long as the two rules above apply to them, but just be aware that the label beginner might not mean to you what it means to the organizers.
