The Banter Blitz Cup is a unique event that combines entertainment and instruction as we get to listen to chess players talk about their games during a serious event. 

• A knockout tournament with 128 players who must commentate while they play their games
• Each match will be contested in 3 minute games with no increment
• Each match is best of 16 i.e. the first player to reach 8.5 points wins
• If the players are tied  they play another pair of blitz games
• If still tied they play one more pair of blitz games
• If still tied they switch to 1-minute games and play pairs of games until we get a winner
