California is locked down again, so it's time to play more darts at home!

Double Elimination - Chicago Style - $12 Entry per Slot

(very large or very small make it a round robin to a KO)

Summary:

$10 of Entry goes to Pot ($1/player to TD's Entry, $1 to Mystery Out!
Camera required to be working. Minimally on shooter, preferably on board. Two Cameras Recommended.
Recommended to Screenshot your match for "proof"
Mystery Out Pot: $0

Communication for the tournament will be hosted on Discord and FB Messenger
You are REQUIRED to use one of them. I prefer Discord. Messenger hates me.
Ideally, participants should be online and ready to play when their match is ready on Challonge
Minimally, participants will be held to a 7 minute grace period after their match is publicly called by the TD
All judgements will be made by the TD, according to chat server timestamp

Each Tournament MAY be capped, depending on our earliest signups
Our Cap Starts at 11.0 for each tournament (2.5 over 8.5 "average" tournament)
Generally, the cap will 2.5 Rating Points over the average rating of those currently signed up
Tournament Cap is ultimately under discretion of TD and "vote" by confirmed participants

We have a NEW MYSTERY OUT!!!
At least $1 from every entry goes in to a "Mystery Out" pot
This pot accrues from night to night or week to week
Any DOUBLE or TRIPLE OUT in a match, counts
Please SCREEN SHOT your out and report it in the communication channel
Only the FIRST one to claim an out WITH proof, is eligible for the money
Proof MAY suffice as your opponent vouching that you hit it. (TD may override on)
TD picks the random number, each week, for the out (once ALL matches are concluded for the night)
The TD is not eligible for the Mystery Out pot on weeks they are running the tournament
If no one hits the out that is called, that money is carried over to the following week
DartsPub will announce, at least one week in-advance, when the "final" pot will be drawn

Please comment in the tournament thread on Facebook, or in the Messenger/Discord channel with your receipt. Include your Challonge Name, and your 80% and 100% screenshots. NO pictures of screens!!!

Darts is customarily "a gentlemen's game" ... and that's our goal in our tournaments
We are not here as "babysitters," and expect people to act like actual adults or "gentlemen" (and women)
Bluntly: the TD may, upon their sole discretion, remove disruptive people from the tournament (NO refund!!
In the event of argument, please ask yourself, "what is the gentlemanly thing to do, here?"
To that End, a bounce-out, miss or miss-score by your board is a ZERO. You board DOES NOT "lie."
Officially, there is NO pushing in darts. In practice, the TD will agree with whatever two gentlemen agree-on
If something truly goes weird, start the game over and HAVE FUN. Yes, I understand you were "winning."
In the end, TD's say is FINAL and DECISIVE. Try solving it yourselves, BEFORE you ask.
Feel free to write your "protest" later, if you must.
