In celebration of the debut of Street Fighter 6, SuperCombo.gg invites the community to its first official tournament. This is a global no holds barred slugfest on launch weekend!

You must be present in the SuperCombo Discord to play in this tournament.

Schedule

Check-in begins 1 hour before the event.
Bracket begins 10 minutes after Check-in closes, following missed check-in disqualifications.
Due to an expected large amount of entrants, the bracket will be shuffled after missed check-ins are processed.

Waiting List

This bracket is capped to 128 entrants, but you are welcome to sign-up even if this cap is reached to be placed on a waiting list that will be filled in after check-in. You must still check-in as normal if you wish to be added in to the bracket from the wait list.

Communication

Please make sure your Challonge and Discord Names are similar (or identical), and communicate your CFN username to your opponent when setting up the match.
You must be present in the SuperCombo Discord to play in this tournament.
Tournament communication will take place in the Tournaments category of the server.
Use self-reporting on Challonge for all matches where possible.
If an outcome is reported incorrectly, please notify a bracket runner via Discord.

Format

All Sets prior to Finals are played First to 2 (Best of 3).
Finals Sets (Grand, Winners and Losers Finals) are played First to 3.
Default game settings (First to 2 Rounds per Game, 99 second timer).

Connectivity

This event is global entry, but requires a wired internet connection to participate.
All platforms are allowed to participate thanks to cross-play.
If two players are able to connect, the match must be played.
If two players are unable to connect, the outcome will be decided via coinflip where the higher seeded player is heads and lower seeded player is tails. The coinflip will be conducted by a bracket runner and reported.

Re-streaming this tournament is allowed!
Streaming your tournament run is encouraged!
All Top 8 matches will be streamed.
You may be notified via Discord that your match is up next to stream during bracket play.
Matches will be assigned the "Stream" station in Challonge if they are expected to be on stream.

Prizing

The prize pool will be managed via Matcherino at https://matcherino.com/t/sf6launchparty
Payouts are as follows: 1st place 50%, 2nd place 30%, 3rd place 20%.
The prize pool will be paid once all Contribution Codes tied to the Matcherino event are used.
