CUPSC Snooker Singles Knockout 2017-18
*Please contact your opponent and complete your first round match (if you have one) by the end of Michaelmas*
Please contact each other significantly in advance of the deadline of each match in order
to arrange a suitable time and venue. In the event of failure to agree a time the
opponent in the top bracket should offer three separate times on different days to play
(with a minimum of 48 hours notice). The opponent must accept one of these dates with
a minimum of 24 hours notice. You must have the League Secretary's permission to
complete a match after the deadline (ad805).
The deadlines for each match and the default number of frames are below (providing
both players agree you can choose any number of frames to play): -
Round 1: Wed 29th November (single frame)
Round 2: Wed 24th January (single frame)
Round 3: Wed 7th February (best of 3 frames)
Round 4: Wed 21st February (best of 3 frames)
Semi-finals: Wed 14th March (best of 5 frames)
The cost of games should be split equally. The break will be determined by a coin toss.
The winner should upload the result.
Miss rule: A miss can only be called in the following situations
1. The player can see any part of the ball in a straight-line
2. There was no genuine attempt to hit the appropriate ball
3. A mishit
