Open Qualifier & Finals

(1.) The Tournament is a 2 day event. On the 29th the Open Qualifier takes place where the top 4 players advance to play on the next day together with 4 invited players.

(1.1) To be able to participate every player needs an SC2 Account on the EU server, his/her own internet connection and his/her own hardware.

Map Pool

(2.) The Map Pool for the whole tournament is the current Ladder-Map Pool.


(3.) For all matches a map veto is used to determine the maps used for each series.
(3.1) Map vetos and picks are done in a ABAB manner until 1/3/5 maps remain, depending on the best-of-series. The higher player in the grid starts the veto and chooses the first map to be played.

(4.) Game settings apply for both days.

(4.1) All players must use default unit “skins”. Any alternative “skin” must be disabled for the tournament matches.
If a player has non-default skins equipped the game has to be paused and an admin contacted immediately. This has to be done within 2 minutes after the first visible appearance of the non-default unit skin.
(4.2) The “Busy” setting in is required to be active

(4.3) Players must turn off notifications

(4.4) The “Only allow friends to send me messages” setting must be disabled to allow admins to communicate with players

(4.5) The “Save all replays” has to be activated
(4.6) Each game must be played in Faster mode

General Rules

(5.) Players must join a special Tournament channel called “BonjwaCup”
(5.1) No streams are permitted to be running in the background

(5.2) Check-in starts 1 hour prior to the Open Qualifier

(5.3) Players are not allowed to switch races in a best-of-3/5 series. Players may switch after a series is completed.

(5.4) During the game, players may not use chat except for a greeting, closing, and request for pause
(5.5) If any player is disconnected from a game, they are required to wait for a tournament administrator to verify the situation and make one of the following decisions depending on the nature of the disconnect
- Restart of the game from the beginning
- Use “Recover game” option to start from an administrator designated point in time
- Declare a winner or a forfeit

(5.6) Replays may be reviewed during down time in-between a series if available, as long as this does not cause any delay in the tournament

(5.7) In case of the situation where both players are unable to win the game, an admin has to be contacted, the game will be counted as a draw and re-done.
(5.8) By playing in this tournament all players agree to be casted and may not revoke the right for casters to join or keep a series on hold for the stream.

(5.9) In addition to the official rules listed here, the Administration team may, at their discretion, provide additional rules to players concerning individual events


(6.) All prizes will be paid out and sent after the tournament concludes and the payment and shipping information have been received.
(6.1) The prize money will be paid out in Euro (€)
- 1st place receives : 600€ + MSI Hardware (GM60 Mouse, GK70 Keyboard, GH70 Headset)
- 2nd place receives : 200€ + MSI Hardware (GM60 Mouse, GK70 Keyboard, GH70 Headset)
- 3rd place receives : 100€

- 4th place receives : 100€

(7.1) If you have any questions or something is unclear you can contact any of the admins above.
(7.2) Every player is required to have read the rules and accepts them by participating in this tournament.
(7.3) Admins decisions are final. If you feel like you have been treated unfairly, you can contact another admin for a second evaluation of the problem.
