Tournament Format: Double Elimination

Set Format: Best out of 3 Matches to win the set until Top 8, which is Best of 5

Stage: Random

No characters, spells, artifacts, or techniques are banned. 

Set procedure

• Matches are to be played in a custom lobby and players will share lobby codes within the designated tournament channel.
• During the first Match of a Set, each Player selects their character and deck and the stage is selected at random.
• If a player wishes for a double blind pick, please contact a tournament organizer.

In all subsequent matches, Players are to go through the following procedure

• The winner decides if they wish to change their character and/or deck
• Then, the loser decides if they wish to change their character and/or deck

• In the event of a desync, the match is to be replayed with no changes to either Players’ character or deck, and no change to the set score

Connection Issues

• Due to the nature of this evolving product and the possible distance in players (east coast to west coast), you may encounter connection issues such as high ping and we ask for your understanding and encourage you to play out the set 
• We also suggest testing the ping in-game prior to officially starting the set

• However, in the event where a connection with a player fluctuates in ping significantly (spiking) to where it is simply unplayable, contact the T.O. immediately! If you wait until after a match to consult the T.O., the result of the match is finalized.
• Each player will run 3 speed tests back to back and screenshot the results to the T.O. https://www.meter.net/ping-test/
• Please use a server that is roughly equal distance between both players.
• Worse ping stability takes a DQ for the set
