GranBoard 2020 Summer League - Division 1

Welcome to the Premiere Season of GranBoard Singles League, presented by DartsPub.Net. This will be as much of a learning experience, as it will be fun for all of us. What we learn, here, we take forward to future installments of this league. We welcome you input and observations during this initial season so that we can improve for future seasons.

Dues are due upon match, each week. If you prefer, you can pay ahead, and save a few dollars ($6/wk, or $90 up-front). Monies ARE NOT refundable, but will be added in to the pot for end-of-season payout. Note that a portion of your "extra" dues will pay for the organizer's dues, and will be fed directly back in to the league. Financial statements will be made available at the conclusion of the league (read: No one is making any money off of this, at this time).

OPTIONAL: Please join the Discord channel for GranBoard on DartsPub's Discord Server.

Matches should be played "close" to the scheduled date, but MUST be played prior to the next scheduled date. You can play anytime you like, but you should arrange your play times with your opponent. Most people have marked Wednesday as a "good" night (I understand that makes the Thu/Fri to Mon/Tue schedules a little tougher, for some - let me know if it's "a burden" for anyone).

You are playing a "Best of 11" ... but play ALL games.

  • Cameras are mandatory. No camera is a reschedule, or a forfeit.
  • Handicap should be ON.
  • Each odd game (the first in each set) is RANDOM start.
  • Loser of the first game in the set, starts the second game in the set.
  • Board Errors stand as-scored. There is NO "tapping-in" darts. Suck it up.

Yes, we are trying to make this competitive and challenging for EVERYONE. Unfortunately, GranBoard doesn't let us set up a series, or even the starters. So, I think this is the best compromise.

Keep track of EVERY game and report them online.

On Challonge, report the number of games won on each side. Total should equal eleven.

Match wins determine overall winner. Head-to-head matches to break ties. Total number of games won is third tie breaker.
