Hello everyone and welcome to Grab Bag! Grab Bag is a unique tournament series where competitors must be prepared for anything!

For those that don’t know me, my name is FalconXD and I have hosted a variety of tournament series over the years primarily for Super Smash Bros. and Mario Kart. My latest project is a Super Smash Bros. Wii-U series known as Fight To The Finish. As the FTTF fans know, Fight To The Finish has been on hiatus and while I’m working on Season 3, I’m not ready to release it yet. Senior year of college had kept me extremely busy so while I did plan out some of the next season, there is still much more planning necessary for the series. I don’t want to release a tournament series which isn’t better and have it drag on like towards the end of Season 2. So know that I’m still working on it, but I’ll be focusing on the Grab Bag tournament series currently.

To those new to the Grab Bag tournament series, Grab Bag is a tournament series where each tournament will feature a different game opposed to focusing on one game. I have had several ideas for other tournament series so consider this an experiment for those other tournaments. In addition, the tournaments are extremely flexible so if one game doesn’t prove successful it is entirely possible that tournament will get replaced with a different game. These tournaments are designed to be weekly, but the time for each tournament and frequency of tournaments could vary. There is no series prize for these tournaments; however, individual tournaments might have their own prizes which if so will get mentioned on the page. If you couldn’t tell, this tournament series is designed to be extremely flexible. The series will last as long as it takes for Fight To The Finish Season 3 to get ready. In the meantime, enjoy the tournaments and let the show begin!

Last tournament was an interesting tournament where we finally gave Splatoon 2 a try, there were twenty players split into five teams competing in a round-robin event. There were many sided battles, moments saltier than the Atlantic Ocean, a missing Boob, and other fun nonsense leading up to an intense final match. In the end, team Super Splat Squids squeezed into 1st place, Cephalogods locked down 2nd place, Yuri’s Bacon ate it’s way to 3rd place, and INXX pushed their way into 4th place. Anyway, welcome to Grab Bag #8 where this time we’ll be testing a different type of skill in Puyo Puyo Tetris!

This tournament is one of three brackets (one for each platform), the goal will be running these brackets along each other. You may enter as many brackets as you like but are still responsible for finishing all your matches. If a bracket has less than 4 players, it will get removed from the tournament.
