Rules
- CFN ID, Discord username, and Challonge username MUST all be the same.
- All names being the same is crucial for both finding your opponent and clarity for the TO. Please respect everybody’s time and make yourself easy to find. Keep in mind, to ping someone in Discord you only need to type "@" followed by the first few letters of their name and hit TAB to autocomplete.
- Discord: type "/nick <cfn name>" DO NOT change your name to "<name you like > CFN: <cfn name>" or even "CFN: <cfn name>" as this is MUCH HARDER to search for in discord
- Challonge: Once you are registered hit the big orange button that says "GO TO YOUR SETTINGS" to change your name to your CFN
- You must Check In on Challonge and be available in the Discord prior to the start time of the tournament. Check In takes place 1 hour before the tournament begins. Signing up is not the same as Checking In.
- The higher seeded player is encouraged to create the lobby and invite their opponent but is not required to do so. Communicate with your opponent in the Discord to determine who will create the lobby.
- Contact a TO or Admin if your opponent doesn't respond on Discord within 5 minutes of round start.
- The TO will then start a 10 minute timer. After 10 minutes they will be given a match loss.
- Winner must report the match on Challonge.
- Only one console/account per entrant.
- Only one entrant per console/account
- Kanzuki Beach, Skies of Honor, and Flamenco Tavern stage must be agreed upon prior to the start of the match.
- DO NOT compete in Round 1 until the tournament has officially begun. Brackets are automatically reorganized by Challonge prior to the start of the tournament to account for competitors who have not checked in. (This usually takes a few minutes past start time to assure proper seeding)
FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THESE RULES CAN RESULT IN IMMEDIATE DISQUALIFICATION
