Stage Striking

For the first match, players will take turns striking neutral stages until one is left (1-2-1). That is where the first match will take place. For the second/third match, the winner bans 2 (two) stages from the entirety of the legal stage list and the Loser picks from the remaining stages.

Dave's Stupid Rule:

A player may not counterpick to a stage that they have previously won on in the same set, unless both players agree

Gentleman's Clause:

ANY stage may be played on if both players agree to it. This takes priority over Dave's Stupid Rule.

Ʊ / Battlefield rule:

If you ban a stage, you also ban its omega/BF equivalent. If you ban Final Destination, you also ban all omegas in general. If a player wins on FD or an Omega,  he cannot go back to FD or any Omega during the same set  unless it is agreed upon by both players. Omega stages operate under the Gentleman's clause, otherwise if no omega can be agreed upon by both players, it defaults to Final Destination. EX: you cannot be forced to go to lylat omega unless you agree to it.

Free Hazards-Off Stages Rule:

Thanks to Ultimate new mechanic, some stages get rid of the stage hazards, making them almost viable for competitive play with some differences in term of the blastzones or stage size. You can only choose one per set unless   it is agreed upon by both players to pick another one under the Gentleman's Clause. Striking the "Free Hazards-Off Stage" option counts as 1 ban (and yes, you ban all of them). For example:“I strike  Kalos and Free Hazardless stage”

Miis Rules:

Miis are free to play any set they want. The name of the Mii should correspond with your chosen specials - (1111, 1122, etc)

Time-out Rule:
If the match ends in a Time-Out, player with most stocks or less % wins the match

No Lag Allowed Rules:

If a match ends in a "No contest" or a player SDs  because of an unbearable lag or input delay,  both players will do a speedtest, the one with the slower speed and highest ping automatically goes to Losers Bracket or  gets DQ.

*Unbearable lag: Slideshow lag, input delay, Smash logo appears almost every second. Lagspikes are "allowed".

*This rule can only be applied one time per Player.

*Won't apply to  streamed matches (as they'll always lag), Semifinals, Winner's, Loser's and Grand Finals.

Your opponent may deny the "No Lag Allowed"  if he's based enough and wants to play a Laggy match.

Reminder: Have Fun!
