Welcome to Dreko's RUMB & Friends 2v2 August 2024 tournament. Tournament hosted by RUMB clan's Drekoreal and co-hosted by RUMB clan's Holysquid. See below for date and time, setup, rules, and prizes:
Date and Time:
-Tournament starts on Saturday August 17th at 11:00AM Eastern Time. Tournament will continue throughout day as players become available.Setup:
- Folks sign up with form provided by host, Drekoreal. Sign up closes Friday August 16th.
Rules:
- Each round consists of a best of 3 versus an opposing team. Any team that doesn't win at least 2 games in the best of 3 will not progress to the next round.
- Host and co-host may apply a handicap to any team on respective round as they see fit (creates a fair advantage for large skill gaps). Drafted rule and may be subject to change before day of tournament (TBD).
- There is no tolerance for cheating and any team caught cheating will be automatically disqualified. Cheating includes but not limited to map hacks and watching host stream while playing to put opposing team at an unfair advantage.
Prizes:
-Winning team of the tournament gets a free pass to have host, Drekoreal, perform starcraft 2 related asks within reason. The number of asks is at least 1, per team member, and up to however many Drekoreal accepts. Example of asks "watch this replay and provide detailed analysis of how I can do better" or "I want you to 1v1 me but you are only allowed to make zerglings".
-Last team standing has the option, but no obligation, to play against host and co-host in a best of 3. Winning results in a $20 cash prize and losing results in only a single ask, per team member, as described in previous bullet.
