There's no X in the title, regardless, Welcome to the 11th EC†PC - /ggg/ Netplay Tourney!

I forgot to pronounce the last tournament as "Tourney ZEX" so we're doing at least 9 more of these for another shot at that.

As an experiment I have modified the rules for how the Grand Final is formatted (it's not that retarded house rule, don't worry.)

The Grand Final match is now a First to Three.

A bracket reset is now required to take the Grand Finals from the loser's bracket.

Both of these rules are an experiment and are subject to change for future tournaments or even during the tournament if needed.

Also please do not be late for check ins or your matches. I understand that we're not just gonna handcuff ourselves to our battle stations like some kind of really kinky cyber sex play, but starting from this point forward I will be enforcing a 5 minute time forfeit rule for anyone who suddenly disappears unannounced before a match or does not check in/sign up at the deadline.  If you think you're going to be delayed by about ten or so minutes, please communicate that with the TO and your opponent and an extra 5 minutes will be given. If you cannot abide by this, then please forfeit your round.

I also ask that players with exceptional lag (10f  delay or more) really think about their participation in a US East Coast Tournament. I don't want to turn anyone away but it's reaching the point where matches are being delayed by up to 20 minutes for technical difficulties in every tourney.

Friday, April 13th at 8:30PM, check ins start at 8PM.

(All time zones listed are in EST)

† - Each round is a Best of Three match

† - Each match is set to Best of Three

† - As always, Double Elimination Rules are in effect

† - The Grand Final match is in 2 match mode. A bracket reset will be required to win if in the losers bracket.

† - With the exception of the Grand Final Match, all Top 4 Matches are in First to Three format.

† - The Grand Final Match is in First to Three format.

Please remember to check in once check ins have gone live. Having to turn a way a clearly present competitor is sadder than listening to November Rain on a 10 hour loop after your woman leaves you. Please do not make me do it.

The Top 4 will be in a lobby hosted by the TO. Once all competitors have been confirmed in the lobby, the remaining spots will be open to anyone who would like to record, stream, or simply watch on spectate on a first come first serve basis. Competitors are allowed to stream as long as they understand that their match comes first above their stream.

Most connections will be from the US East Coast, but anyone who believes that their connections will be reasonable are also encouraged to enter. However please be considerate of your connection, as a laggy match is not fun for either you or your opponent.

Shortly before Check Ins start, a Discord server will be made for the tourney for the purpose of open and fast communication during the tourney. Like every Discord server made before it, it will be deleted once the tourney is over. So make sure you save the screencap of  that bullshit thing that pissed you off before the end of the tourney. An arena after a battle is nothing more than a monument for mourning. As the living we have no use for such a thing.
