Season 5 of the Unity Smash Tournament. One last tournament to send off the game that brought so many of us together!

Winner gets the coveted "esports" trophy

Time of Tournament:

 - July 17th - Aug/September

- Due to a more relaxed end date, no 3 strike rule is in place. But please try to play at your earliest convenience.

**Rules Update** - due to competitors leaving in september, the tournament needs to move along. Strikes will be handed out at the TO's discretion after a warning. Strike rule will be more strict for earlier round matches.

Settings:

- Stock Count: 2

- Time Limit: 6 minutes

- No items

- Matches are best of 3 games

  - Top 8 is best of 5 games

- Pause is disabled

- No customs. Mii Brawlers must be 1/1/1/1 moveset (default with no stats)

- Seeding is based on the following priority: Season 4 > Season 3 > Season 2 > Season 1 > Low Tier Tournament > New Players. If you are unsatisfied with your seeding, thats your own damn fault.

- The Wii U to the right (when facing both tvs) will be the official tournament Wii U. Those in a tournament game will get priority on sound levels and controllers. 30 3rd will be the main tournament building, but if both competitors agree to fight in 760 market, then that's fine too.

Game rules:

- There is no sudden death. The player with more stocks wins the match. If stock count is the same, then the player with less damage percentage is the winner.

- If both stock and percentage are identical, or a game ends with both players being KO'd simultaneously, then a tiebreaker is played. A tiebreaker is a 1 stock, 3 minute match with the same characters and the same stage.

Starting the Match:

Rock, paper, scissors for first stage choice (or gentlemens/gentlewomens to Smashville/any agreed upon stage including banned ones)

- winner of RPS bans 1 stage, loser bans 2, then winner picks last stage

After first game, winner of that game bans 1 stage, then loser picks. Loser cannot pick stage they won on already in that set.

After stage is picked, winner of previous game chooses fighter, then loser counter-picks fighter

Available Stages:

- Final Destination/Omega Midgar/Omega Wily Castle/Omega Suzaku Castle

- Battlefield/Dreamland

- Lylat Cruise

- Town & City
