The Nether Regionals Invitational

Welcome to the Nether Regionals Invitational! I am looking forward to this and I hope you all are as well :)

Races will start the week of October 19th!

Deadlines 

Tournament starts October 17th

Round 1 ends November 14th

Quarterfinals end November 28th

Semifinals End December 5th

Grand finals & Bronze match end by December 12th

If you haven't scheduled your match by the time of the deadline, both players in that match will be DQ'd. If one person is trying to schedule and the other person is ignoring/not trying to schedule, then the player ignoring would be DQ'd at the time of deadline.

Prize Pool

I'm tossing $2000 pure donation into the pool.

1st: 25% of donations/bits  + 50% of pure donations towards prize pool during match streams

2nd: 15% of donations/bits + 30% of pure donations towards prize pool during match streams

3rd: 10% of donations/bits + 20% of pure donations towards prize pool during match streams

Seeding 

Seeding is random as most players are around the same skill level. Both players will be given the same random seed to race on.

You will be expected to stream your race with a timer. Players will be added to a discord DM where I will countdown the match.

Please have your mic and stream alerts turned off during your race so that I may use your audio :)

Please try to start stream at least 5 minutes before race start time

All communication/questions are done through my Discord server (https://discord.gg/bigsimp). 

The matches will be streamed on my channel (https://www.twitch.tv/simply), with commentary from myself and 1 guest who may request to commentate matches found on the schedule here by posting in #invitational. 

After a race, players are welcome to join commentary for an interview! 

All races are a best of 3.

Players are in charge of contacting their opponent to decide a time and date to race. Both racers must confirm their desired date and time (see schedule here) in the #invitational channel of the discord.
