No Smoking Cup is dedicated to increasing awareness of the dangers associated with tobacco-smoking.

I'm glad to announce that I'm sponsoring 30,000 RUB (~400$) for the fourth edition of No Smoking Cup! The tournament will feature 5 new

maps, runner-ups of last Hive Workshop melee mapping contest: Crystals Below, Full Moon, Ice Forest, Rune Maul and Wurmspine Wood.

Dates:

31 May & 2 June 2022, starting 18:00 CEST (19:00 Moscow time).

(See also the picture below.) On the first day early rounds are played, up to WB semifinals; players may play as soon as possible. On the second day 6 remaining games are played sequentially.

Format:

Double elimination.

WC3Champions hostbots supported. If both players agree, they may play through Battle.net EU.

Early rounds Bo1. Starting semifinals in WB and the first of 4 in LB (i.e. when 8 players are left; see pic) - Bo3. Grand final Bo5, no advantage for the winner.

Admins: Nightmare2077, shokroot. Reserve admins: mafe, Kaer, hundredkg

Prize money distribution, rub:

1: 15000

2: 7500

3: 3500

4: 2000

5&6: 1000

For any contested issues or problems, please contact the admins, who will act as arbiters.

Casting must be done in SD graphics. You are encouraged to put a stream delay if you are a caster, but this is not a requirement.

We expect and require all players to be committed to the spirit of fair-play and mutual respect. Any attempts at cheating, insults, trolling or other blatant disrespect directed at members of the community will lead to penalties up to immediate disqualification.

Map picks and bans:

There is no "permanent" ban of a map in a series - after the first map is played, loser may pick any map out of the 4 remaining maps. To determine the first map, players take turns banning themaps, whoever is higher in the grid bans first.
