Welcome to ARMS: The Ultimate Battle #35!
This tournament is open to ALL REGIONS!
STARTER STAGES:
Sparring Ring
Mausoleum
DNA Lab
Temple Grounds
Buster Beach
COUNTER PICK STAGES:
Via Dolce
Scrapyard
For Game 1 in every set you play, the counter pick stages (Via Dolce & Scrapyard) are NOT available.
The player who is higher seeded (the player with the lower number next to their name) bans ONE Starter Stage to begin. Then, the other player will ban TWO MORE Starter Stages. And finally, the higher seeded player will choose which stage to play on from the remaining TWO.
GAME 2 AND ONWARDS:
For Game 2 and onwards, the two Counter Picks come into play.
The player who won the match that just finished now bans TWO stages INCLUDING Counter Picks if they choose (they can ban both Counter Picks if they wish).
The player who just lost the match now gets to select a stage to play on from the remaining FIVE.
The WINNER of the previous match has to announce any CHARACTER SWITCHES, but the loser does NOT.
Winners Final, Losers Final and Grand Final will be Best of 5 (the first player to reach 3 wins), and the rest will be Best of 3 (the first player to reach 2 wins).
However, you and your opponent can agree to go to a certain stage WITHOUT doing any bans (if you both agree to it).
There may be instances of lag in your games. As this is an All Region tournament, please respect that if your opponent is from a different region to you, this could occur, and that nothing much can be done.
However, if your opponent is from the same region as you, then it is likely to be a connection problem over a distance problem.
If this is the case, then the person who is claiming the lag must ping me or Foxster in the arena they’re currently in, along with a clip of the lag. If me and/or Foxster agree that it looks unplayable for that player, there will be a replay of that match (same ARMS, same characters, same stage).
If the replay takes place and the lag happens AGAIN, then both players need to take a screenshot of their speed test (with the IP address covered), along with a photo of their LAN adapter or WiFi connection.
Once all of the factors have been taken into consideration, myself or Foxster will come to a decision as to what will happen - ALL decisions are final.
It is RECOMMENDED that you play with a LAN adapter, but it is NOT required. However, please bare in mind that if you play with a WiFi connection and there is lag, it is likely that the lag is coming from you, and could result in you having to give up the set.
