General Information:

The Cup starts Sunday the 1st of December at 2 pm CET (GMT +1).

Tournament registration starts Sunday the 3th of November.
This tournament is limited to 64 players.


Prize pool:
1st place wins 50 €


Cup-Rules

1. Each tournament entrant requires a valid european StarCraft2 account, including the "Heart of the Swarm"-Expansion, to participate.

2. Excessive talk/discussion during the match is prohibited.

3. If a match can not be played an admin has to be consulted. If an opponent does not show up until 15 minutes after the waiting player adressed the situation to an admin a default win will be assigned to him.

4. If a tournament participant delays the cup by playing other tournaments, cups, or games, he will be disqualified instantly.

5. If the players agree on a draw the (same) map will be replayed instantly.

6. The use of cheats, maphacks or any third party tool is strictly forbidden and will result in an immediate disqualification from currently running and future cups.

7. It is forbidden to watch and/or listen to the current cast of your own games during the match (streamcheat).

8. At any point the players have to follow the admins requests. Different behaviour may result in punishments or disqualification.

9. Before the series starts, the players have to veto and vote all the maps for the best-of-series:
If you have to play a best-of-1-"series", you have to play the determined map.

For all best-of-3/5-series:
All maps will be vetoed till there are left 3/5. The first map of a best-of-3/5-series will be decided by one Veto of every player, following maps by the losers choice of the rest of the available (non-vetoed) maps.

10. Replays have to be saved until the tournament is finished.

11. If one of the players disconnects from the game, the game has to be recovered by one of them. Checking the replay or build order is not allowed and will result in a freewin for the opponent. The player initiating the resume of said replay has to do this using the SC II client, right clicking the replay and chosing the "recover game/replay" option. In case of suspicious behaviour of an opponent after recovering a game an admin has to be consulted immediately. Decisions on further actions and proceedings are up to the admins.

12. The admins of the cup are representing the rules and responsible for upholding them. To make this possible the players have to be contactable to the admins at any time. Make sure to add the admins to your friends list or enable them to contact you.

13. To approach your opponent and being contactable for him as well you have to join the public group "Pain Syndicate Cup".

14. Streaming the event is forbidden. If you want to stream your games please talk to the Master Admin of this tournament.

15. (This rule only comes into effect when there are more than 20 players registered. Otherwise all games before the final are played as a best-of-3-series)

Payment is organized by Felix 'unskill3d' Burger. If you win the tournament, an admin will contact you. The prize will be given away via PayPal or via normal bank transfer.
