2017 Rialists' Year-End Favorite Character Tournament

Third year of the  favorite character tournament!  This year introduces a round-robin 'group' phase for the first half of the tournament.  8 groups of 8, everyone in the group faces everyone else, wins worth 3 points, ties are 1, top 4 in each group progress to the knockout phase.  Matches will be posted in groups of 4, twice a day (noon and midnight EST), starting at midnight on October 25th.  Voting this year will be done by 'reacting' rather than liking comments, with each match having a 24hr window before a result is finalized.  Feel free to vote on every match!  There are going to be 224 matches just in the first round alone!!!
