Teams will face off against each other in an all out best 3 out of 5 bracket. (Every set is best of 5 not just finals) Players are encouraged to get in a private call with their teammate to relay information in the game quicker and adapt to enemy strategies more effectively.

             Main rule changes from singles

• Players on opposing sides are not allowed to be in the same voice chat while a race has begun. If caught, the match will be immediately stopped and reset.

• Babylon Guardian is selectable.
• Teams must be in the order of ports. (I.e. port one and two in a dolphin session must be the team on the top half of the screen.
• E10G and Advantage-P are banned.
• There are no "neutral stages". For every round in a set, one team will simply strike 6 stages and the remaining can be picked by the opposing team. First-round is a coin toss to decide. DSR is still in place.
• There are normal tourney skip restrictions as in singles.
  

Other than that, all rules from the singles format still apply here.
