DAY 1 TIEBREAKERS EXPLAINED
Please note that the tiebreakers are different to what is supported by Challonge. They will be calculated at the end of all rounds on Day 1 by me to determine the final top 8, if it's not immediately obvious from the match points. DO NOT RELY ON CHALLONGE TIE-BREAKER.
Q: What is match-win percentage?
A: That's your match points divided by the max match points for the number of rounds you played. (This is to account for people who drop.) You are considered to have played in a round where you received a Bye.
Q: What's opponents' match-win percentage?
A: The sum of the match-win percentage of each opponent (where anything below 0.33 is treated as 0.33) divided by number of opponents. If you received a Bye, then there is no opponent for that round in this calculation.
Q: What's game-win percentage?
A: That's your game points divided by the max game points for the number of games you played. Byes are ignored during this calculation since you didn't play any games to receive the 3 match points.
Q: What's opponents' game-win percentage?
A: The sum of the game-win percentage of each opponent (where anything below 0.33 is treated as 0.33) divided by number of opponents. If you received a Bye, then there is no opponent for that round in this calculation.
