Shadowed Eyes is a 6 round Swiss Tournament beginning on October 27th, 2023 at 12pm PST through 6PM pst. Players will play 1 set a week or until every set in a round is complete (whichever comes first.) Points will then be tallied and weighted after round 6 to reveal the final placements.

In the case of no top cut or a few ties, ties are broken in the following way:

1) # of other contenders at same record who you have beaten (TB Column)
2) Median-Buchholz: a system used to break ties in swiss tournaments. You disregard the opponent you've played with the lowest score, and the opponent with the highest score. The remainder of points are added up, and that's the value shown on this column.

3) Points Differential: # of games won vs games given within sets.
For example someone who has gone 5-0, 5-0, 5-0, 5-1, 5-2, 5-4 in sets will have a points differential of +23, 30 game wins and 7 game losses...30 - 7 = +23
This will give your 4-5 losses and 5-0 wins more weight in tiebreakers. 

Fights will take place at the undead burg

Soul Level: 135 MAX

No healing or regen (including miracles, excluding Sanctus, Server, and Butcher Knife)

No cheats/hacks
No clear menus

No Flexing/ESM

No wearing armor as a dragon

No two catalyst spell swap

No GMB

No TWoP/Stone GS r2

No Pursuers

No RTSR or BTSR

No tumblebuffing

No permaswaps

No prebuffing/precasting

No leaving the arena for extended periods of time; Players may leave arena once per round be it accidental or intentional, after 2nd time it is considered a round DQ.

The winner of a game cannot buildswap the very next game in the set

Unlimited buildswaps a set

Excessive lag = round forfeit

Continuous lag = dq

Double KO = no point awarded and round will be replayed

First to 5.

Matches will be pre-scheduled  between 12pm - 6pm PST and self-reported between both players. Players are encouraged to record their matches from their side in order to discourage match-disputes and rule breaking, ideally from the beginning of the set till the end, without edited cuts. If a match dispute occurs, players may contact a tourney moderator to oversee the rest of the set if need be, or review recorded footage. Prior to set start, players will decide either through a gentleman's agreement or through the first alphabetical start of their name as to who will throw the lloyd's talisman first to begin the 1st match. Following the end of every match, players will then take turns throwing said talisman between matches until the set ends.  Players may also choose to be the sole designated talisman thrower if the other player agrees via gentleman ruling. Match will begin on both diagonal corners of the burg square (see picture below.)

During the time before and after said talisman is thrown, the opposing player may not ready their weapon or hold a bow. Match begins when the talisman lands.
