Flags: See discord for additional information about voting on an addition to the following flagset.  Once the tournament begins, flags will not change for any matchup.

-Key Items including the Bright Card, Seed, and Fertilizer are randomized.   Key items are only shuffled within key item locations for speed.

-Maximum character randomization, No Free Characters to make the early game slightly more strategic.

-Treasures and Rewards randomized in a chaotic way where chests and rewards can have any non-key item.  Ditto for shops.

-Standard Enemy and Boss randomization without hard flags to keep things different, but easy to overcome.  Culex flag is on.

-Maximum randomization of equipment without hard flags.

-Expx2 to keep the seed moving quickly while still strategic.

-Challenges: death abuse is allowed and viable in the event of a difficult early game, but how much to do is a strategic decision.  Magic Buttons in BK will be randomized, Dr. Topper quiz will not be, Ball solitaire will be voted on whether to randomize. 

-Misc: -fakeout, -factory warp, -showequips all designed to make seeds go faster and promote strategy and planning.

Rules

Bracketing: Brackets/matchups will be generated at random via challonge and on video.  Sorry, there's not a quick AND easy way to match opponents effectively in this community at this time.

Submissions: Once a week between Monday and Saturday, each participant must submit a vod of their seed.  Please check the Discord pin for a link to the submission form.

Gameplay: There are currently no restrictions on hardware/software used to play seeds, but ZSNES should not be used (for anything, ever).  It is recommended that players use the most accurate hardware/software available to them, based on the information available on the randomizer website and discord.  Use of save states is not allowed.
