Matches will be seeded after registration ends based on times on the leaderboards so make sure you update/add them. EDIT: as of June 18 9:20pm EDT, matches have been seeded according to current PB. This is the final bracket layout.

TOURNAMENT FORMAT: There have been a lot of questions about how exactly this tournament works, so here's the explanation: Round 1 begins on June 19th, and if you have a round 1 match you have to play it within a week after June 19th. The format of tournament matches are you and your opponent go into SRL IRC, do one race at an agreed upon time, race, and send the completed race times to either Truman, nickj109, authorblues, or Aaron (xsvArea51).  YOU ONLY GET ONE SHOT, SO MAKE IT COUNT

NOTE: Check your challonge messages for updates and crucial tournament information. In addition, it's a great way to arrange your race time with your opponent. You may also post the time when your race happens here, so others may watch when your match happens. Times are automatically converted to your local time zone.

The second ever Super Mario World No Star World Tournament! This tournament is being ran by and so send a message there if you have any questions. All skill levels are welcome and I encourage everyone to participate. The last tournament was held in October 2013 and was a huge success, drawing several new racers and having several very hype races. For those who don't know the route it can be found here: Signups will close on Thursday, June 18th at 9 PM EST, and you can start playing your matches on June 19th after the tournament is officially launched during the pre show. The pre show will be streamed on the 19th on at 7:30 PM EST. The tournament is double elimination.

2. All players playing on emulator must stream; console players should stream, but may local record or show splits if able to

3. All matches must be done through SRL IRC. SRL Race time will be used. In the event of a close race or incorrect timing, a frame count or retime may be required. SRL Timing starts when you hit 1 player game and ends on last bowser hit

4. Orb and other chuck-eat glitches are not allowed

5. Players have one week to complete their matches, so the first round will officially begin on June 19th, and all matches in round one must be played by June 26th. In the event the match is not played the participants will be disqualified, unless evidence is provided that there was effort by one of the participants to play the match.

6. ALL SKILL LEVELS WELCOME, I can not stress this enough, this tournament is all for fun and one of the most fun parts of the last one was watching all the new people who showed up learn through competing.
