IMPORTANT: This bracket will take place on the beta branch of the game. To access it, right-click on Maiden & Spell in your Steam library, click Properties, then go to the Betas tab, as shown in the screenshot provided on the Challonge page. You should be able to switch over there.

While not region-restricted, it is hosted by some guy in Alberta, hence the name.

Matchmaking and callouts will happen in the Maiden & Spell Discord server, in the #tourney-callouts channel.

I'll be streaming as many matches as I can without running too late! I encourage whoever wishes to do the same to... do the same, as long as it isn't affecting your connection to your opponents.

RULES

Match Format

• Top 3 (Winners/Losers/Grand Finals): Best Of 5/First To 3
• All other matches: Best Of 3/First To 2
  

Bracket reset is enabled for this tournament. If the Losers finalist wins in Grand Finals, the bracket will be reset and another final set (Grand Finals 2) will be played. In other words: "Everybody gets one."

Game Settings are as follows:

• Stocks: 4
• Best of (cards): 2
• Wall Timer:  ON
• Blind Pick:  ON

Character selection:

• First match is blind pick.
• For every game after the first...
• 1. The winner of the previous match will have to announce if they're staying on their current character, or if they're switching (and what character they're switching to)...
• 2. THEN the loser of the previous match must do the same.

Stage selection:

• Every stage is allowed normally, but if requested by either player you will be forced to play on Wyrm's Jewelbox (or alternatively, Aqueduct/Painting Turned Reverse).

Please report your own matches! It speeds things up a lot!
