Tournament Structure and Drawing System:

- Round robin pools > double elimination bracket

- Each match will be best of three. Each round in the match is a different game.

- Redraws should not occur outside of technical limitations. You may only request a redraw if you've played the game in one of your previous tournament matches. Prior experience should not matter otherwise.

- Games will remain in the pool after being drawn.

- Multiple submissions of the same game will be merged into one line in the pool. If different challenges are submitted, players will be allowed to decide on which challenge they play.

- If players agree to shorten or lengthen a challenge at any point because the submitted length is noticeably too short or long, they can choose to do so. The challenge will likely be updated in the pool for future matches. Players may also agree to extend the goal if they simply want to play more.

-IRC will not be used for this tournament. All matches will be conducted through Discord.

Submission Rules:

- Alternative consoles may be permitted, although details must be shared with staff prior to submitting. When applicable, a detailed netplay setup Pastebin must be provided with the game.

- The ideal length for each challenge is 10-12 minutes, although don't be afraid to submit a challenge that's a bit shorter or longer.

- Use of Parsec and any games that require its use are banned.

- Any challenges that are heavily luck-based are banned (use your discretion).

- There is no submission limit; go crazy.

- Pastebins are somewhat discouraged unless it's unlikely that the players will understand the game's core mechanics.

- Any blatant fairness issues should be mentioned in the submission's comments (e.g. a game show game should not be played in a US vs European match).

Submissions will only be tested if an unlisted console is submitted. We trust you to submit games and challenges that are at least playable, so don't let us down. <3

Note: We may switch over to for this to test out some different bracket progression. If this happens, we won't require anyone who has already registered on Challonge to re-register on

These groups are a preview and subject to change until the tournament is started.
