This is the first Qualification Cup for the 500€ Playoffs on January 1st!

Thanks to Alexander Jörg from the Zurich insurance company, I am able to host a New Years Cup for your guys with 500€ fixed price money coming from Alex! We use this Matcherino page to gather additional money which will go to the winner of a community vote of the top 4 Playoffs participants. You will have a chance to vote for your favorite player of the cup and help him getting even more price money on our final Playoff day on January 1st, 2020.

Date/Time

The 500€ playoffs will be held on New Years Day on Friday, 1st of January at 19:00 CET.

The four winners of the below four qualification cups will be invited to play in the Playoffs:

Qualification Cup #1: 22.12.2020 at 17:00 CET
Qualification Cup #2: 27.12:2020 at 19:00 CET 
Qualification Cup #3: 29.12.2020 at 17:00 CET 
Qualification Cup #4: 30.12:2020 at 19:00 CET

After the Grand Final has come to a conclusion, I will start a vote in the Twitch Chat for you guys to vote for your favorite player! The money gathered here will be used as following on top of the secured 500€:

#1 Twitch Vote: 40% to the winner of the vote

#2 Twitch Vote: 20% to the second place

#3 Twitch Vote: 10% to the third place

#4 Twitch Vote: 5% to the fourth place

I will use the rest as a little compensation for all the time used to organise, host and cast this event :)

Format & Rulebook

- Early Rounds and Quarterfinals are played in BO1 Modus. Both players alternately eliminate one map until only one remains (A-B-A-B-A-B). The remaining map will be played. The team mentioned first in the grid starts with the procedure

- Semifinal are played in BO3 Modus. Both players alternately eliminate one map until only three remains (A-B-A-B). The player mentioned first in the grid picks the first map. Afterwards, the loser of the match prior determines the map.

- Finals will be played in BO5 Modus. Both players alternately eliminate one map until only five remains (A-B). The player mentioned first in the grid picks the first map. Afterwards, the loser of the match prior determines the map.

- Please upload all replays into the #replays Discord channel!

- Don't forget to contact us in the Discord channel in case you want to stream this! We allow players to stream their own games and non-English speaking casters to cast in their language, but only if the Cup logo is used on stream! You can find it in the #streamer-overlay-image Discord channel.

Casting

For the qualification cups, external casters and players are allowed to cast as normal. For the Playoffs, no other casters are allowed to cast, but if you are a player and would like to cast your games, you are free to do so with a 5 minute delay as long as you use the transparent cup banner image provided in the official  Discord channel.
